Solution

Roll-ups are fast becoming the approach to scaling Layer 1 blockchains. Layer 2 roll-ups are designed to alleviate congestions, solve existing issues and reduce transaction fees of Layer 1 blockchains but link back to it for security, data availability and access to liquidity.

Enphyr introduces a new type of roll-up called ‘Cipher roll-up’, which addresses the three pillars of focus – data privacy, data tokenization and blockchain-powered KYC verification. Cipher roll-up is created by utilizing a combination of cryptographic techniques:

  • Zero-knowledge proofs (ZKPs)

  • Homomorphic encryption (HE)

  • Secure multi-party computation (MPC)
